About Flagstaff

Flagstaff is a repeat winner for ‘Best Towns’ in Outside Magazine and has something for everyone!

Situated at 7000 feet at the foot of the 12,000 foot San Francisco peaks, Flagstaff is a paradise in any season. In the winter one can ski at the Arizona Snowbowl or nordic ski at the Arizona Nordic Village. The snow-melt in spring makes Oak Creek Canyon (and many other canyons around town) a great place to enjoy the first days of warmer weather.

Summer in Flagstaff is almost magical, with daytime highs that are perfect for pursuing any activity. Within the city of Flagstaff there are more than 50 miles of urban trail, and the town has several excellent microbreweries to cap off a day spent outside.
